Fundraising tips

Because we want you to succeed, we've created a 6-step master plan for you. You also have access to fundraising assets such as logos, posters, and social media content. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We'll be happy to help you.

1. Make the first donation

Get your fundraising off to a good start by making the first contribution yourself. Make sure it is a generous one. It will encourage others to get involved and donate as well.

2. Tell people why it matters

Tell people why you have started fundraising for the AED-package. Make sure they understand why it is important to create a heart-safe area. Start informing your family and friends.

3. Start with your close contacts

It is always best to start fundraising in your inner circle of family, friends and closest neighbours. They are most likely to donate and this will give your fundraising a kickstart. Try personal messages through Whatsapp or Text Message.

4. Share on your social media channels

Now it is time for the big work: start sharing your fundraising on the socials. Tag people and thank them for donating to let others know people are behind you. It will better spread the message and others will be more likely to donate as well.

5. Re-engage with email

Do not hesitate to send out some follow-up emails to keep people engaged with the fundraising. Keep your donators up to date on the progress and when target milestones are reached. Ask people to help you reach your target goal.

6. Continue thanking and updating

Keep thanking your network for their support via your social media accounts. Regular updates keep engagement active. Encourage others to start fundraising for their own AED-package as well by explaining the purpose. Make others aware!
